1965 Dodge Dart project. My loss, your gain

I sure am! I was in my teens when that show was on. (I don't get the significance though) I got your e-mail Mark, and just responded to it this evening

1965 Dodge Dart project. My loss, your gain

I plan on keeping the assembling going with the parts I have already aquired. She'll be much easier to sell if she's a "roller". I've had the car for almost 4 years now; and other than the economy looking so bleak for race cars and muscle cars; my interest is going in the direction of...

1965 Dodge Dart project. My loss, your gain

Yeah; that bullet proof rear end was what kept me inspired for the last year. But with an uncertain economic future; I just can't "pledge" another 10 k to get her running and rolling. Sure wish I could though.

what does your early abody look like?

66340Sedan; your cutouts for the fenderwell headers are about the cleanest I've seen! Any tiops on how you did it so tight? Are those TTIs?

    Early A Control Arms

Wow; the engine bay sure did! It took me forever using brake cleaner to get it off. I guess some previous owner did the fenderwells ;who knows how long ago? Whew; lucked out! But the bottom of the car has lots!

what does your early abody look like?

Wow! What an inspiring thread! Here's a before and current pic of my 65'. I hope my car can be inspiring to somebody some day!

    Early A Control Arms

OK; all cleaned up and primered. Next I need to paint the eventual body color (Silver) on the engine bay and inner fenderwells before putting the front end back together. I've heard that the /6 stock T bars are OK for drag racing; but I will be using my car for occasional street cruising as...

    '70's life

I know I'm kinda new around here; but yes; I did live through the 70s in Southern California. For me; those were the "good ol days". We used to go to the Pomona Sears parking lot area on saturday nights and meet up with the "Street Racers" (Big Willy from Long Beach; long story) We'ed race just...

    Early A Control Arms

I ended up getting the right pair through Dick at FirmFeel (The black ones posted above) I had the machine shop at NAPA replace them with rubber bushings. They told me that it was a real struggle to get the old ones out. So now I'm almost ready for assembly after stripping; grinding, and...

    Nice 66 Dart on e-Bay

I kinda like it! But not for 8K

    Early A Control Arms

Well it seems as though par for the course is gonna prevail and this also will not be a slam dunk. The pivot shafts I have on my control arms are for "poly" bushings, but used with rubber bushings. I guess one of the previous owners might have thought he upgraded the wobbly suspension. Anyway...

    Early A Control Arms

Nope; I've been wrapping up school this week and battling the flu. It looks like one of the pins is bent a little. Do you know if anyone carries replacement pins?

315x60x15's on my 64 Dart GT

Good job! I also put a 30 inch tire on my 65'. The only difference was that I had to use full tubs because of some bad rust issues on the wheel house.
