Don't laugh, it's a thing...
So, as info, those drums don't slide off the hubs like the rears do.
They are clenched on by the studs and require a cutter to remove.
To get them off for service you just take the nut off the spindle and slide it off.
I'm not even running a prop valve on my '66.
'72 up manual disk master cyl, small res to rear brakes. big res to fronts.
Worked fine with factory 8.25 drums and now with Ford 8.8/Explorer disks.
Stops great.
