Looking for a transmission shift cable for a 1965 Dart GT with Slant Six and floor mounted twin cable shifter. Assuming this is a 904 transmission. Any help in sourcing this part NEW or USED is appreciated. Thanks.
My 65 Dart GT with /Six has lost reverse in addition to no longer starting unless I jump the Neutral Safety switch with a ground wire.
Drove great to/from work. Parked it in my garage. 5 days later no start and after the neutral switch jump cure no reverse - still has forward gears.

I suggest you take the car to the Rappahannock Mopar Club show in March at Safford Dodge near Culpeper. Put a for sale sign on it and this beauty will probably be sold that day. Wish I had some $$ to add this to my 65 Dart GT /6.

OK, Thanks. RPM increased significantly with advance timing. Not sure what that means but will give 12 BTDC a try and see what happens.

Installed a Competition Cam as part of initial rehab of newly purchased 1965 Dart GT with a 1970-1972 Slant Six.
A new timing chain set was also installed and lined up dot to dot at TDC as stated in the instructions.
Ignition is converted to Electronic type.
I have very little background...
The square bushing with hole for the throttle rod on my Holley 1920 carb has gone missing.
The bushing fits into a square holed bracket on the firewall side of the installed carb. Looks like a clip holds the throttle rod in place on the exit side of the bushing. It is probably just over 1"...
Thanks for all the guidance. The rods came out easily, just as advertised. Another great save from all the resident knowledge in FABO. Hopefully they go back in just a easily.
