Part number is: 942441 Flow masters website lists this as a 40 series Delta flow 2 1/4 inch (not 2 1/2), offset in center out.

These were removed from my neighbors 41 Chevy. Very little use. Center in, offset out. $100, plus shipping, for the pair.

Actually, there are a lot of reasons to use the super six carb. Subtle differences make it ideal for the six, smaller venturis, different pump cam profile, and Teflon coated shafts. The 318 carb works, the super six carb works better

yes you are correct, my linkage is a little different from stock because of the headers. yours will line up with the throttle cable. as far as the carb numbers, I don't have a clue to what they are. maybe someone else can tell you what car that carb originally came on. to your original question...
