  • Hi there just wanted to let you know I have a 1970 Plymouth Duster with a 440 in it (its what was in it when I bought it)could you tell me a good header that fits good and sounds good for this setup ?It has shorty headers on it right now that really dont sound all that mean and there rusty so I would like to change them.

Most people would suggest full length headers from TTI. There are drawbacks, cost and very tight fit. I used Schumacher Tri-Ys, they fit great and are a breeze to install. Drawbacks, not made for a four-speed (although I have pictures for how I modified them to fit), and there is a loss of power compared to TTIs.

Thanks for info,I have a automatic (727)and loss of power dosent bother me much,I am more concerned on the car looking and running good.
