i know this is an old thread but if you are looking to remove the oxidation and bring the original color back to solid plastic parts, i scrub the loose flaky oxidation off and just heat with a heat gun almost to the point of becoming soft. the plastic brightens back up to about new. i have done...
i know this is an ancient thread but my barracuda had two in the dash and one in the console. i guess the console one was incase the kids in the back seat needed to light one up too. it also had 6 ashtrays, all 4 armrests the dash and console.
I agree with post 5 completely. i had mine built by coan racing and they asked for all those specs to build mine. made a HUGE difference from the off the shelf one i was running.
I know they were red white and blue but i think to make them work id have to have them printed in different colors if i go the sassy grass route on the car.
O i already went far from stock with my home made dash. Not to worried about customizing. was just wondering how well they would fit down the side. I would hate to drop the money on the kit and not be able to follow the body lines.
I am currently repacing a lot of sheet metal on my 69 barracuda and at night after i clean the grinding dust off my face i think about the final details. I am considering putting the hang ten graphics on to it when it is painted. What are some of your thoughts on this?
