    383 2bbl on a 318??? will it work?

    Also I have an open intake not the 2 hole kind. It's a large oval so no interference to the butterflies I'm guessing. I haven't seen the 383 carb yet. Guy has one for sale for $125 locally. My 0-2425 is falling apart, not worth the trouble. Can't afford to upgrade to 4bbl yet.

    OK I think I got it covered. Mr gasket 2bbl adapter ordered. Is the 383 a larger bolt pattern on the intake? Thanks for the help btw.

    Can anyone advise me on putting a new 2bl for a 383, Chrysler #1530373, carb on my 318? My Carter model 2425 is done! Will it work?
