PST 1.03 inch torsion bars ?
you need to just call dick a Firm Feel. he is a great guy! i have a bunch of his parts on my car,quality stuff. i am about to go in bar size myself and i am dealing with him about it. i am going to go a little bigger so when i lower the car more it will still be firm. my car gets run hard in auto-x,road course and on the mtn roads.

I really like dealing with Dick He is VERY HELPFULL,and will work with you until you are happy.He may be a little slow responding to emails,but there is a 1-800 number and you can talk to him directly.
Im currently waiting for my sector kit to arrive from Dick@firmfeel.
I also have his reinforcement kit for the lower control arms.
These two kits will reduce flex in the k frame and suspension,but wont necessarily affect the ride.
I dont know about the larger bars and ride quality,but you need to know that ride quality can be affected by many other factors like stiff shocks,poly bushings,low profile tires etc,bracing the car with torque boxes and frame connecters can all make the ride much firmer.
I went the other way and lightened my car's nose,thereby making my 318 tbar far more effective.Fibreglass front end,aluminum top end on the motor,relocated battery,whatever you can do to make the front end lighter will also help the tbar act like it's stiffer.
If your really worried about ride quality I'd go with a thinner tbar ,and add in a sway bar front and rear.. This will improve handling without affecting ride quality too much.
