not unless you are trying to use it as a VIN tag.it is a TRIM tag. it is not a VIN tag. you dont use the TRIM tag to register a vehicle.if that was the case it would not be merely SCREWED to the inner fender. it would be rivited like the VIN tag.show us a law that states that,removing a trim tag or replacing a trim tag on any 68-80s mopar is punishable by law.misrepresenting a vehicle by way of a trim tag is morally wrong but not legally.it is up to the buyer to do his homework.
