Show your slant 6 a body!
Here's one of my A Bodies... She's 1964 Valiant V100. Slant Six, 3 on the tree. I bought her from California. I then flew out there and drove her back to North Carolina.
I did the minimums to get her roadworthy and got the car running and driving decent for having sat 5 years...
I drove over 5,000 miles without too much of any incident...my clutch decided it didnt want to disengage from the transmission about halfway home. I went over the Rockies in 3rd gear...boy I was chugging along at about 10mph when I finally went over the top! (I later discovered that half the springs in my clutch disc had parted ways with the clutch and would hangup in the pressure plate at the most inopportune times!)

After I got home I swapped out the tired Slant six with one I had built previously using a Super Six setup. I also swapped the old transmission with a low mileage unit out of a '66 Valiant. Got rid of the ball and trunnion shaft in the process.
