Has any one heard of any problems with the 5.7 Hemi? Mine started ticking shortly after I bought it. Also on my second oil change I noticed water on the inside of the oil cap and a little sludge in the dipstick tube.
My coolant res. is on the add line but hasn't gone down from there, it doesn't run hot. It only has 16K miles on it. I'm not as hard on it as I was with my '99. I've heard of two other people who have had similar issues. One of them (from what I've heard) got new heads under warranty... I was also told that he got his old heads back. The other guy has the same issues as me and hasn't had any repair work done yet. On both I've heard that there is a problem with valve clearance.
Any one else hear anything on this?
