diffrent steering columns

If you are only looking for an original look while getting rid of the column shifter, you don't need to change the whole column, only the upper shell. I removed the column shifter parts from my '73 D100 and replaced the shell with one from a console shifted '70Duster.

FWIW, I also got rid of the troublesome '73 ignition switch at the same time and installed one from a '79 Aspen, which mounts atop the column behind the dash instead of inside the column. A steering wheel from a Cordoba also replaced the oversized truck version.

The great thing about old Mopars is the commonality of parts that allows a lot of mix and match between models.
