oh no, ford carbs on slant!

I had the same problem with my Holley 390 cfm (ford Carb) and did this, and also wanted cool fresh air to hit the engine, I did not have an extra hood so it was this, off a 4.0 Jeep. Mine is also a 170 /6. how did you get headers for these 170 low deck engines to fit with out hitting the water pump ?
I like your set up and the same here on a big change on response, HP and better gas milage got much better and as you can see I had my manifolds split to get the potato out of the exhaust
