69 Cuda resto

O.K., so for anyone out there that is considering using Duster trunk extensions here's what I did with mine to make them work. Once we get them on there will be some more forming to be done, but the manufacturer says you can only use the drop down portion on a 'Cuda. Not being an experienced enough body man I said 'hog wash!!! I can make this work!!!'

First I straightend the lips on the trank pan side and the rear, then I used a straight edge to measure from the outside face to the trunk pan attachment lip at the front and the back. I transfered these measurements to the new panel and drew a line for my bend. I then drew a parallel line for my cut. I cut off the offending piece, worked it down a vise, bending as I went. Voila!!!! '69 'Cuda trunk extensions. Oh, the genius that is me...JK...lol. Then again, these only cost $40 so if I screw it up I'm not out much...lol!!!

For all intents ands purposes I'm sure these will work fine.
