If you open up the exhaust you lose a little low end torque but gain high end power. I was going to go 1 7/8 headers and 3" exhaust, but I wanted the low end power that this car was built for. I talked with TTi and they said at 650hp and better they recommend 1 7/8 and 3". So, depending on what you are putting out, make your decision accordingly.
