shift kit debate

My stall converter is tci and so far don't have any complaints.

That's good . Glad it's working out for you :glasses7: . I've heard mixed- results with their 'converters ; obviously you got a good one . I wish you continued luck with it .

However it looks like ill probably go with the tf-2 transgo kit. Seems to win by a land slide by the mopar crowd everywhere i look.

Trans-Go makes only top-notch stuff . I met Gil personally back in the 90's , at his shop in El Monte (Ca.) . It's not open for retail ; you can't just cruise in and buy parts from their manufacturing shop .
One of the dealerships I worked for had an account with Trans-Go . They'd buy certain parts from us , such as Valve Body Separator Plates for the 9C1 4L60E and 4L80E (read : heavy duty police / fleet transmission stuff) for certain kits for the aforementioned transmissions .
Very nice guy .
I'd buy from him based on my personal experiences with him alone !
Although , I bought a TF-2 before I even met him . I got one for the 904 in my '72 Dart back in 1991 , through the suggestion --indeed assertion-- of the guy whom built my Dart's trans .
Never looked back !

Good luck with your ventures :glasses7: .
