Young Gun Giveaway!!!!!!!

Alright, I'll go again since last time I only won a T shirt. Jake, 20 years young.

Alright, so I've been into cars since I was about 5. The truck that got me into old cars was a 58 GMC suburban, viper red, that my dad restored, dropped a 500 caddy motor into it, then sold it to Gilbert Brown of the GB Packers when we moved back here from Spokane. he also drove a white 49 Cadillac Ambulance with Hunter on the side. Anyone in the Spokane area remember it? It would have been around 95-98.

So, after that my dad bought a 1950 cadillac 62 series sedan, which he said would be for me when I could drive it. Well, that still had a lot of work left on it when my grandfather said that he'd give me his 66 barracuda.

I had no idea what that was, and when i finally found what it looked like, I thought the front end was hideous. still kinda do. but hey, free car and it needed less work than the caddy. So, we took the interior apart, refinished it, painted the car, (great priorities. :D), then put the 360/727 that I bought from a neighbor for $500 in. After we finally got it running august 2009. we drove it 6 miles and blew up the trans. so, I saved and rebuilt the trans. I got it running, but it worried my dad as it had this weird surging, so $350, a new coil, cap, and carb later I was able to take it to the last last week of high school for me. Got a $10 ticket for not having a permit. worth it? yes.

It looked like that for a month (while I drove it), then I finally got the cragars I had ordered in May late July.

These Cragars are currently for sale. http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=187571 tacky, sorry, trying to get rid of them.

I didn't really do anything to it after that until this april when I put some sound deadener in. I also got a large (for me) tax return that allowed me to do things to it that I'd wanted to for a while. Currently, I'm waiting for the engine to come back from the shop, the rear end to be narrowed and my dad to come home so that I can see how to port heads correctly. I love this car and can't wait to start driving it again this summer.
