I have always thought this was a good idea. ...and I will support it however I can.
That said, everybody always seems to want to jump on the young guns for giveaways and contests. Think about this. Were it not for the old farts, the young guns would know nothing of the hobby.
Some old fart somewhere wrote a book the young gun read, told stories a young gun listened to, or laid under a Mopar with a young gun. Everytime we do something like this, we forget about the old farts. There are some old farts here that need help just as much or more than some young guns. None of my Mopars even run yet. ...and I'm not asking for help or hatin on the thread, I am making a point.
I never saw a contest or giveaway aimed at old farts, yet, they are the reason the hobby keeps on going, through the sharing of their knowledge. I will keep supporting this and things like it, but I wanted to throw that out there for those of you who may not have thought of it. Over and out.
