I have made plenty of purchases on sites such as ebay, where there is buyer protection, but what is the policy here on FABO? I just read a thread where someone lost a huge pile of cash somehow in connection with a purchase. I would like to make some purchases here n the "parts for sale" section. I can't hardly send money to someone I dont know hundreds or thousands of miles away... and they likely feel the same way about sending parts to someone they dont know without having cash up front... what are you all doing here? Help!

It more of a "gut feeling" here.... but in all reality I steer away from junior members with less than "x" amount of posts.... I'm not a fan of supporting the drive by buyers and sellers... Once your on here long enough you can tell if the seller is legit or not... also good tip for here or anywhere.... if the seller refuses to give you their full name, address, and phone number then I wouldn't work with them... With all of that information if they screw you, then you can file a report with the FBI cyber crimes division.....if you're still concerned... put up a post asking about the seller... you'll get a response in about 3 mins or less from the guys who are always online.
