I but welded a section in and ground it down (I left a little profile on it for strength, nobody will ever see it anyway) I got enough penetration on it to grind the other side smooth once I take the floorpan out. I have one more section to replace around that seatbelt nut.

I also test fit the new rocker and it seams to fit well.
