Three on the tree to auto

The Hurst shifter is the original Hurst AUTOMATIC shifter from a '65 'Cuda. I've gathered a hodgepodge of parts over the past year to do the swap. I do NOT have the flexplate though, I'm probably going to get an SFI approved one as this car is going to see some track time....If I can't use the factory Hurst shifter I'll end up getting an aftermarket floor shifter.

on the later slants a v8 flexplate will bolt up, not sure about the early ones

only mods you have to do to the crank is take the pilot bearing out, sometimes this can be a real PITA but after that its straight forward, same bolt pattern for bellhousing, might need a different driveshaft, and you'll need the auto linkages and kickdown
