318 A/C Delete - info

I have read through the many posts on deleting the A/C on my 318, 74 Scamp, w/power steering, cast iron water pump (i believe).

There seems to be conflicting information on what all i'd need. Some people say that using the the existing brackets/pulleys will work, just need the non a/c belts - others say I'd need new brackets/pulleys.

Which is correct?

I'd obviously like to do this on the cheap and I'm not worried about the engine looking "stock" - I just want the a/c GONE (i never, ever, use it).

something interesting, all the pulleys i've been able to find for crankshaft & water pump are only for the aluminum water pumps, not cast iron - leading me to believe all i would need is the non a/c alternator bracket.

1) Non A/C alternator bracket $37.50 - http://www.bpeusa.com/BPE5251.asp
2) Crankshaft Pulley $83.00 - http://www.bouchillonperformance.com/inc/sdetail/918/947
3) Water Pump Pulley $66.00 - http://www.bouchillonperformance.com/inc/sdetail/868/902

From what I can tell, it almost looks like if I use the alternator groove closest to the bumper, I might get away with not having to buy new pulleys & would just need a new belt?
