My HDK install thread.
Then I installed the upper coil over mount. This a several mounting bolts. the first was the upper bolt. It goes thru the factory shock hole. There is a bushing that must be pushed into the hole. I used the supplied bolt to press it into place.

Then you have to drill a hole thru the inner fender and stock shock support bracket. there is a sleeve for this hole as well. this hole needs only the 1/2" inner hole drilled.
It was at that point I was very impressed. The HDK brackets fits absolutely perfect! This is pretty critical because it used some factory holes.
Then i installed the upper coil over mount support hoop. I tightened the upper bolts so that the brackets were parallel.
This positioned the hoop so that i could drill my holes thru the frame.
