340 muffler decision
Well he did say he was replacing the Flowmasters. Why suggest another one?
As for me, I too can't stand the tinny sound of Flowmasters. Any of them, 40, super 44, 50 series. Tried them all and got tired of them as they droned bad.
I too have an X pipe 2.5 inch dual. I'm using Magnaflow's straight thru style, these were the only straight thru's the muffler shop had. I like it but I will eventually replace it with either the Dynomax Ultra-flo's or even the Hooker Maxflows.
I did get a chance to hear someones Satellite with a hopped up 360 and Hooker Aerochambers, it sounded good but it is a bit on the mellow side.
