3/8 fuel line routing?

Has anyone have the best route to run new 3/8 fuel line on my duster. Was gona run along factory lines but that's a lot of bending and that's a bit ch to run around frame by the wheel wells on rear.or can I get away with running straight down the inside rear frame rail. But then I would be 2" away from muffler ? Is that way to close? Any opinions. ? #-on

Mine runs along the frame ties. - A good place and protected, if you have frame ties.

For the section near the muffler just slide on or splice opens and tie wrap on some reflective insulating wrap like that used on fuel lines under the hood or for refrigeration tubing. This way you will have some additional protection. I would also put some rubber hose on the line where it passes through the frame to eliminate metal line to frame contact.
