I own a '69 Valiant and am having some refinishing done on the interior - dash, heater control and radio bezels. Having the pro's do it. The rest of the interior is in great shape. Seats, new carpet, etc. The headliner is a smooth one piece with no section stitching whatsoever. Does anyone know if Mopar made some headliners like that back in the day or was this a re-do? It is also in excellent shape and I would hate to replace it if they were stock like this....any thoughts? Thanks!

I can't look at mine, now, but if I remember correctly, they are in sections, stitched together. -- My Valiant is a 2 door Gran Coupe. Body Style VH21.

On my '69 Valiant it had sail panels in the back corners. They were made out of cardboard. When I took it a part they were pretty much shoot. I re-made Them out of 1/8" hard board. By the way that headliner is really hard to do with the back window in the car. Good Luck.
