Twice I've driven my roadrunner in fremont's 4th of July parade, and sadly I'm like the only one representing mopar. There's always Ford Mustang clubs, Chevy truck clubs, etc with a strong presence.... And then there's me trying to carry the torch for our beloved brand. So, before I decide if I'm entering again this year, I thought I'd reach out here to see if I could drum up interest from 8 or 10 others to join in..... What do you say; who's in???

How big is that parade. Im in Redwood city its a good size parade but the only cars Ive ever seen are the convertible parade cars usually in the beginning. Sounds interesting.

This is also a good size parade. There is an insane amount of diversity in the entrants, due to the demographics of the area. With respect to gear head entries, there's always a group of 6-10 classic mustangs, another of classic camaros, yet another of classic trucks... But never Mopar's! Hardtops are as welcome as convertibles. If I hear from at least 5-6 others who want to participate with me, I'll see about entering us as a group. I think there is no cost.

I love a good parade. Especially, when it has Mopars in it!

My brother used to drive my car in his local parade, so I guess I could bring it out. Anyone have a red convertible? We could go in order red, white and blue...

Absolutely! I've got us covered on the red 'vert!....

Alright, one more solicitation to get a count on who'd like to do this. If you can commit, then let me know by posting make, model and year of your car, plus a picture. Only do this if you are committing to participate, and please do so by Friday 13th. I'm up for it if a minimum of 3 others are in. I'll take care of registering our group. There is no cost. The parade starts at 10, and staging will probably be around 830 or so. Parade route is only 1 mile, so you're probably done by 11ish depending on our position in the line up.

I'm doing a few updates to my ride right now, so its down. I should be back up and running before the 4th, so count me and my '68 convertible Barracuda in.
