Well I tried alcohol today and was pretty impressed with the results. Turbo 318 running 12 lbs boost. Megasquirt controls fuel and ignition. Im aiming for 11.5 afr at boost but what should I try for ignition timing? Can I advance it a little more?
11.5 afr on E85 is pretty lean, stoich is about 9.7-9.8. Under full boost I am running in the 7.2 range. I wouldn't add timing until you get the mixture dialed in. I am in the 22-24 BTDC range at 14 lbs with E85. BTW, where are you in CO?
