Ok....I thank all of you for your help. One more time... I have a 1972 Plymouth Valiant and I want to know if this will work....Can I put 15x7 wheels on it with 215 65 R15 tires on it without any problems with turning or clearance. Original size was 14x6. This car has all shoes on all 4 brakes. Also are the wheel lugs all right handed or left handed when you tighten them?

Yes it will work if the back spacing is correct and the bolt pattern is same. Lug nuts are always righty tightly!!

There is a thread with fender mods for clearance. The Plymouth openings are different than the Darts. The answer to the last question is YES! Look to see if any of the studs have an L on them or if the nuts have lines across the top indicating they are LH thread usually on the passenger side I believe.

Ok I stand corrected!! Some are LH Thread (See above) How about on a 1972 Plymouth Valiant? My guess is RHT.

All you can do is look for an "L" on the end of the stud(s). Impossible to know for sure what's on this car at this stage of it's life.

Original rims were not 14x6. There was no such animal for an A body.

They were either 14.5 or 14x5.5 depending on if you had a /6 318 or 340 car.
