Tire size question

The biggest tire to run on a 9, on the street, would probably be a 275/60-15.
Do NOT put 325s on 9s, and do Not put 295s on 9s either. They will not run flat to the road, and will only burn the treads off prematurely.

I wonder if you are thinking straight. You paid to get those bigger tubs in there. You might as well fill them up now. Your engine needs more than 275s. And you could have put 275s in the factory tubs.

One good thing is that I did the tubs my self. Id like to do as much of the work my self. I want to run the US MAG 5 spoke wheels. The biggest 15 in. comes in 9 in. wide. A friend of mine has 15x 8s on 275s on his duster & I don't like the way they stick out past his lower quarter. I think 295s will be to short ( as seen in pictures ) When the time comes, I will get that tire/wheel combo & if I see I will have room I will put the springs back to the stock location. Then I can run tail pipes with the tips.

Do you know the backspace on His wheels? 275s are the Biggest you can run on a Duster without major Surgery.
