Thanks, all ! Actually, it's a '69 with '68 grille & taillights. The S/S cars didn't have the front marker lights since the fenders were 'glass & I didn't like the rect. lights on the rear so I got rid of them. Some day I might put the right lights in the quarters.........Oddly my body guy didn't like the cut quarters & refused to work on the car if I cut them. He had done 2 other clone cars for me & went nuts cutting the quarters. This one he refused, so This is what I wound up with.

Fish, If anything gives me incentive to go out to the garage right now and work on my junk its seeing your car. Well done.

Hows the new bullet working out.

SSCUDA

Ok SSCUDA, time to get out in the garage and start fishing.... A little at a time my friend... Try and get a little thing accomplished every weekend...

As far as the new bullet - that thing is awesome. The old bullet made about 770 HP. This one is between 840-850 HP. The seat of the pants dyno tells me the torque is also way up. Pretty fun ride, but I haven't taken it down the track yet. I will let you what it runs when I do..... I am still looking to embarrass a HellKitty on the street... LoL....

With what I have on my plate now it's a bit of a challenge to get out in the garage. Thankfully the OEM's were in a summer shutdown mode the past few weeks. That allowed me to do a little work on the car. My youngest and her fiance bought a 10 year old townhouse in downtown Toronto and wanted some finishing work done so that took up the majority of my time over the summer. After this wedding in October it will be full steam ahead on the car. My consulting work for this year looks to be winding down too which is welcome.

The new bullet sounds stout. I'm glad it's running well.

I picked another bullet off RJ that needs some detuning to run on 94 and a complete refresh so we'll see how that goes.

Sounds like you have plenty going on.. When you get started, if you have any questions about something on the car, feel free to ask me and I will do my best to help you out. Good luck my friend....

@hemicop I'm pretty sure I saw your SS Dart at the Pavilions earlier this year, but was so busy, I never got a chance to say hey....

It looks great & hope to see it again up close!

Thanks Oldschool,

As you know this is my 3rd Cuda build and the last. This one is more NSS/A vs. the first two which were (SS/AH) 25.5 spec cars. I'm sure I'll want someone to confide in and you will be the first person I call. I may even drop by for a beer as I'll be in Atlanta @ GE Corp. and Remington in Huntsville, AL in September.

Just hit me up when you get in town and we'll try to set something up...

Not a Hemi, But the 65 Dodge has got the look. - The 2 white ones were 440s. The Black 63 was a slant six.

davescuda just started a good thread about parts specific to the SS cars, that hopefully will keep this Forum active for a while. But I encourage all to be active and not give Joychgo a chance to regret his decision. :)
My contribution of a none factory SS A-body, is his photo from the late seventies.
And I personally prefer not to use the word CLONE, with respect for the originals...
