I just completed a spring relocation. Working on mini tub, but noticed that my tail pipes are now to narrow for the fuel tank to fit. Tanks is 28" wide and tail pipes are 26" apart. Just wondering what you guys have done to get tail pipes to fit nicely.

If you do a search.....you might get lucky and get a hit. There's a really good thread on this very subject with lots of pictures.

My problem is I can never get the search feature to work very well.

Would these help??

Why not bend them at a 45° and exit just before the back tires....

Two 45's put together before the tank will kick them out farther.

I made my own that bend around everything, definitely not an easy task, but turned out good, they more or less run under the frame between the spring and the rail to clear the tank, and go inboard in front and behind of the tank.

Mine is multi-colored also! Think this is the route I'll be taking. Do you remember the tire/wheel combo you had?

-- Rear was 15" X 8", with modified back spacing (the center was moved) and 275/60-15" Radial T/As. -- Ran MT Slicks, on the street, most of the time. - Mosier axles - cut studs & Dog Dishes - slicks were hardly noticeable. --- Front was 15" X 6" - don't remember the tire size - guessing that it was 215/70-15". -- Did paint The Engine Bay. --
