That first photo is my wife and daughters. Michele just had a 'significant' birthday yesterday.
She's wanted a classic convertible forever. I surprised her with a 67 Barracuda :)
That photo is our first drive. Luckily for me, she LOVES it. So do the girls. We're going
to have a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to a rolling restoration.

I am happy that you are blessed with a wife who can share in your interests.

Mine went the other way, and whatever I liked was somehow bad or wrong.
 
I'm the most blessed guy you know ! The three of them are terrific.

The car's really pretty on the outside, pretty rusty underneath.
Originally a /6, now an LA360, 727 and 8.75. I'm not sure yet
of the gears, I think 3.23.
It's all dirty, but seems to run strong, and not leak.
Power steering, power brakes, discs in front.

Awesome birthday gift. I'm afraid if I did that my wife would wish to return it. She said my Barracuda was the ugliest car and why did I buy it. The closer I come to completion hasn't changed her thoughts at all.

I am lucky. She's always wanted a classic convertible, blue and rectangular. She didn't care if it was a Skylark or a Continental. I knew she did not want a Mustang or Camaro.
That made it easy to pick the RIGHT car !

Very nice! My wife likes my 67 Barracuda convertible, but if it was hers, she'd rather have a Rustang! Congrats on having a wife with great taste!
 
Man...I thought for sure this was going to be a post about putting your right foot in and shaking it all about...I guess if that 360 performs it might still be?
