SS/B Barracuda project

I love it.... In the two above photos you can see how the doors are different colors than the body's . The sheet metal on the doors were "thin" and came from a different location that were the body's were from so they used different paint. Bob Torozzi said that when they were stamping the doors they used two pieces of metal equaling the same thickness as a stock door. They would stamp it and then pry the two pieces apart. That is how they made the thin doors and the bumpers.

Interesting... I did not know how this was done.
So according to documentations Tarozzi sent to Hurst regarding weights of the components that was, in one way or another, to be change to reduce weight, Steel Door other skin 13 lbs each. And Steel Doors 31 lbs each.
This make me draw the conclusion something was done to the Steel Doors as well...
