The widths are not the same. 255 and 275, and the height is relative to the width. the taller tire will definitely have a bigger footprint. Though what that has to do with my 1/4 mile times, I don't understand. The shorter tires never spin - they hook perfectly until the track conditions deteriorate around the sixth or seventh run.
