what turbo headers for a 318?

Obviously he plans on external wastegate turbo's then? I'd love to see the fitment on these. would deff help the OP or anyone else interested in doing the setup.

Stock magnum 5.2 or 5.9 manifolds will work fine. You're doing way more work then needs done.

You also won't be able to change plugs easily, and your wires will hit the tubes.

You probably don't want to hear this, but with 5 liters of teener torque, have you considered a remote mount? I really wish somebody would build one for me to copy, heehee. I was thinking a small one hung on the end of a shorty header on the passenger side, and a bigger one further back, on the driver's side, and the run the exhaust from the small one, through the big one to spool it up. Yeah exhausting that would be a bit of a challenge. And it might cost a bit of foot-room to the passenger; but no-one wants to ride with me more than once, anymore;heehee. such Sissys!

I had considered remote when sts turbo came out...they are now out of business.lol I will stick to my hybrid twins. worst case I boom the teener and pull another out of the scrap yard. Or buy a blueprint or atk. If plugs are an issue...I will run header studs and take them loose if needed. I still like my internal wastegate hybrids and straight headers. I find the less hacking and splice welding the better

Spot on, forget the fancy tube headers. you don't need them for this application.
