The close hotels usually are full by now. you might get lucky and find one due to a cancelation. The highways right there so even if you get one down the road a bit its not a long drive.

Are there still plenty of rooms available in the area?

Probably if you call now for reservations.
I go 2 exits up and find a hotel there. I have never had a problem finding a hotel.
Don't let it ruin your trip, it is not a big deal.

I'll be there with my 66 Valiant "low dollar" slant six bracket car.
Yea, sleeper...right. Probably does 9's in the quarter mile.
You stealthfully haven't posted a pic.

Stop by...FABO guys all welcome. Look for my 98 Blue Dodge Dually in the Swap Meet.
AND BRING ALL YOUR SPARE MOOLAH...Bwaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaa!

Dayuuuum...you guys dont mess around...A body shop that BUSTS ***.
Cool boat, but me likes the Diesel Dodge even better. Cant wait to see those Wheels.
My son is not a body man but a top notch painter. The bad spot on bed was repaired by the guy who taught my son to paint. He has been painting 20 years+. We did dent repair and blocking for 4 8 hr days.

Naah, low 14's on motor. High 7's (7.84 at Greencove Springs Dragway) on spray in the 1/8. But only have about $3,000 in the car, including buying it.
I'll try to find a pic, and figure out how to post it. I'm tech challenged.http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/256507/filename/8.png

I may run into you. Planning on racing Green Cove in the coming year. Mom has a place in Colee Cove.
Constantly up there managing her property. Still sore cleaning up the Hurricane Matthew debris. Lost half her dock. Whatta mess.
Back to 9-5 though.
7.84 for a six is pretty damn impressive. :elmer:

Don't want to hijack this thread, but there are a lot of quicker slant's, then mine, out there. Quickest/fastest in the world. If anyone is interested we can start a new thread.

Yes it is very impressive. Got that Buzzin' Half Dozen rolling out....
WaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaPaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Everybody's buying the cheapo repros and making them work. Used to do a TON of them before that. But I can take a look if you're gonna be around Otown. Cant make Ocala this weekend, Sorry. You can send me some pics, if u wish. I will shoot you my email via PM.
You probably know somebody local who can bring the stuf to Garlits...if you trust them. Dunno know if I could.

By the way...Year One is reproing the S Emblems...get them while you can.

I am located in North Ga. so no to delivery at Bigs. Was not sure how far from Ocala you were.

I have emblems and a pretty solid original I want to get dressed up. I to currently run a re-pop but it is thin crap that looks nice it lipstick!

I will send some pics to your email and maybe we can meet up when I am back down that way at T-Giving.

You did my grills and bezels for my '67 'Cuda, if I come I'll bring my finish panel so you can give me a quote.

300 + 22 shipping.
With all the goodies you sell on FABO, I'm sure your Panel is probably pretty NICE...but: IF it is badly creased on the rims, sometimes I cant fix them. The determining factor to resto on these Panels is if the Textured area is straight. It is really tuff to get pressure dings out of this area. Look at it at an angle, if the textured area is straight then it's a good Candidate. If it is rippled, I cannot get all of it out. +++++++ ALSO, you must purchase the repro Center pieces for your Taillights and bring them with you for paint match. These tie into the Rear Finish Panel on the 67s. Everybody forgets to do this when they get their Panels done. But you can send them to me at a later date and I will paint match them then FOR FREE.
REAR UPPER & LOWER TRIM. They are reproducing these pieces now, as you probably know. The top piece is useable, but they send you 2 top pieces and expect you to use the top on the bottom...but it does not fit. Be on the lookout for an OEM piece for the bottom. Dont modify the top piece to fit the bottom, you'll only ruin your paint and it still wont work. They come up quite often on FABO, so keep searching.
EMBLEM: All the Cuda rear Emblems have pitting problems, probably due to exhaust. If you have some spare Panels, take a long hard look at the Emblems. Betcha one of your spares may have a nicer Emblem than your current one. The pits really are more noticeable once the piece is redone, so snag me the best Emblem you have or even better bring the spare and let me remove it.
