6.1 Hemi 69 Barracuda Fastback Father Son Project
My first car in 1980 was a 69 Barracuda Fastback. 318 car that I put a 340 into with a Reverse valve Body manual shift automatic.
Fast forward to March 26 2016, purchased a rolling shell basket case to restore/restomod with my 17 yo son. This will be his first car. Only been titled once before I got it. 318 Auto, Bucket seat car. Needs pretty much everything. Ordered full AMD quarter panels in May and received them in November... ugh.
Been removing everything and ordering parts. Filling up my living room with boxes.
This one will be a G3 5.7 Hemi with Hotchkis Springs & Sway Bars, QA1 K Member, PST 1.03 TB, Cordoba 11.75 front discs, Cherokee rear discs. Year One 17" Mopar Rallye wheels powder coated black with 71 dark argent centers. All LBC 5 on 4.5" 8.75 Sure Grip, leaning towards 727+Gear Vendors.
It will not be GREEN! Son's color choice is Viper Charcoal Metallic Outside and Black inside.
This will be a cruiser, street/show machine that he will be able to take to shows and cruise nights. Not a daily driver.

Today 11/12/16 sitting in our outdoor shop... waiting for it's turn in the body/paint shop, Fenders & Fins, Woodinville WA.
Here's mine. 70 340 4-speed Cuda Convertible stroked to 418.
He will have his own to take to show when done. Plan to be way underwater upside down. $$$
