When I bought my 1967 Dart GT convertible in 1989 as the third owner in 1989 I received all the paperwork on what looked to be a very original an unmolested car. But, since the owner included three sets of hub caps (very nice of him) I've never been 100% sure which set actually came on the car.

The broadcast sheet hub cap option is 24. The car came with the top caps and I've talked to at least one person who had clear proof that these did come on this car but I want to know for sure what that code 24 would have been.

Thanks for any help solving this old mystery!

According to my 67 parts book, wheel cover "24" under the build codes is wheel cover part number 2823024. These are the wheel covers on your car in the top picture.
The simulated mag cover was another option available in 67.

Exactly. I have an extra set of the 24s and was just going to say that the covers in the top picture are the correct ones. The nice thing with caps, is that you can swap them quickly and get a whole new look for your car.

Thank you so much! That figures then because it seemed like the second owner barely did a thing to the car after getting it from the first owner. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing - "maybe I'll run these for a while." I need a fourth of the lower ones. Have a set of dog dish caps too but I don't think they'd be right with white line tires. The balancing weights on the tires get in the way of the lower ones too.

I am looking for some dog dish caps for my 67 Dart base model.
I want to put them on 15's to 17's with lower profile tires. (finding wheels that will except the caps is still a question mark to me.)
I am interested in the dog dish caps.

And your simulated ''Mag'' wheel cover is part # 2808 349

I don't believe that my Dart would have had anything more than a dog dish hubcap because it is a 2dr. POST with the most basic of trim.
I am still looking for a set to fit it.
My hope is that the dog dish caps will fit on larger wheels as well.
At any rate, I would like to acquire a set for my "67" Dart base model.
Thank you.

Thank you.

It was not unusual to buy a low class model and order or pay later at the dealership to have wheel covers instead of hub caps, my father did that when he bought his new 1964 car in 1963.

If your LL Dart comes with 13'' wheels, the wheel cover # is 2823 016
If it comes with hub caps the part # is 2409 523

I'm not sure about it but, if you have the broadcast sheet, the last 2 digits of the caps or covers are on it

Does anybody have a reference on what covers would have been options on a '72 Swinger? Mine had the Bullit Charger caps on it when I got it.

Thank you but whatever the original hub caps were, I want the 67 Dodge dog dish caps on stock looking wheels.
Any assistance in helping me find a set would be extremely appreciated...

Please let me know if you still have them and if they are for sell. (or free, free is good too, ha)
