1968 Plymouth Valiant (Rear End Damage)
1968 Plymouth Valiant for sale $850
The good:
- 318 rebuilt 4 years ago with 15k miles on it.
- Vehicle runs and moves on its own power (I do not recommend driving home as the exhaust is bent at the manifold which causes it to rub against the inner tie-rod)
- grill/hood, front fender panels, doors and glass in good shape.
The Bad:
- Rear ended two years ago.
- Heavily bent frame over rear axle
- Trunk, rear right body panel, front left A-pillar all heavily bent
- Right bank exhaust pipe below manifold heavily bent
I purchased this car in 2003 and it was used as my daily driver all the way up until 2014 when it was rear ended bending the frame. This car, along with this forum, is what gave me all the knowledge I now have of mechanics. Unfortunately, I am in a position where I cannot devote the time to fixing her up for a second time and must let the Varment go. I understand the amount of damage on the car is pretty severe and do not hide any of that in this post. The price reflects what I feel is a good deal if the car were sold out for the motor, panels, and components.
I've taken it to frame shops and all state it is fixable damage but still too much for what I can put into it.
I will not ship the vehicle. Vehicle will not come with battery. I can put one in it to show that it runs though
