Working on a 67 valiant with a 4 speed. Right now i have the original front bench in it.
I do have a front bench out of a 68 barracuda with headrests and the fold down arm rest.
It will need to be recovered/ re padded. That will run about 500 bucks and I can do the work myself. Option 2 is the procar/scat buckets with headrests. Those seats with adapter brackets
will cost me about 700 bucks or so. What do you guys think ? The money difference is not an issue.

My two cents...
Pro car seats if you're going the restomod route.
Bench if you're trying for a period correct look.
Tie the interior together with the exterior, color and style.

I like the sleeper/benchseat look. I've seen a couple where the frame was modified to give a little more shifter throw room and it looked trick (subtle but trick).

I like the look of a split bench w/armrest but I would rather drive something with a little more comfort and support.
Are these the Procar seats? I think they would look good.

Those are them lol

I picked up some nice black leather seats from a 90's rustang at the u pull it for $25each

There is a lot to be said for seats out of a different car.
These are BMW Recaro's Sport 11 way adjustable that I had re done.
They move forward about 6 inches when you tilt them forward for more entry room to the back seat, and the passengers side seat has a tilt forward release on it's left side so the driver can tilt the passenger seat forward.
Passenger side seat lays all the way down flat, so you can take a nap while the Wife drives on long trips. :D

Is that a hole in the floorboard to the left of the steering wheel?

So I'm not the only one who sees it too? Thank you. I thought I going crazy.

I would go the bench route but I think you can get that recovered for more in the $200 range.

Adding buckets require some support plates too, there is more to it that just drilling 4 more holes.

That aside, I've been looking too. Procar has some nice choices. I prefer comfort and safety over a stock appearing look. TMI makes some nice seats for a bit more coin and look a little more muscle car than Procar.

much as I like the look of the bench, I had one in my 68 Valiant, and even in my 30's, a 6 hour trip got pretty uncomfortable with a bench with no adjustment besides forward - back. Add 20 years to that......I love my Lincoln seats. I put 79 aspen split bench/reclining backs in my Dart

I think that car is better suited for the bench seat. Or find you a set of factory bucket seats. Not sure those new style bucket seats fit the style of your car.
