That is totally pointless, as all it does is connect the one head to the other and there is WAY more of a connect between them in the block.
In my opinion, the best setup for normal all around street drivers is a filtered inlet on the front or rear of one cover and the PCV valve catty corner on the other cover.

thats what i thought...also why i saved it for our viewing pleasure

I have an adjustable one from wagners really smoothed my engine out at idle

I say it depends....if he didn't have a way to close off the breathers, that's essentially what he did.

I'd rather have the PCV not pull fresh air. So I seal off the engine, and run a PCV over pan evacs. No vents.

Wow, if I posted that half this site would be up my ***.

You're talking about the ME Wagner valve correct?

If so, worth every penny.

So what do you think of their dual flow adjustable PCV? Is it worth the extra money?

I use one and would never go back. The only thing is, the dad isn't sure he likes the way I use his valve, but my way works.

It's a damn nice piece.

I agree. The ME Wagner valve is a nice piece. Expensive but nice. The valve really improved the idle quality on my engine.

Back to the original question: They will vary in size of flow orifice if you look across all makes and models. And as Trailbeast sez, the level of vacuum at which they switch from high to low flow will vary.

OP, is their a specific type of PCV or application you are asking about? There are several with different vacuum levels that have been discussed.

I just bought one from the parts store that fits the grommet diameter. Seems to work fine. The crankcase helps push on the valve to open it and thus allowing the pressure to escape into the carb and burnt through combustion i wouldnt think you would need a different one for various levels of vacuum

Looks like the two across the front are breathers and maybe one also serves as the oil fill. The pcv valve is in the back on that right valve cover. I know most of those brand valve covers like that have 20 holes in each side, for what idk lol

The hose on the right rear valve cover goes to the air filter and uses a breather elbow at the cover. It's not a PCV valve.
