Milodon Oil pan fitment
Milodon's 8 qt. small block pan required the notch in all A-body applications that I've seen, but their 7 qt. may not. (I just never ran the 7 qt.) The Milodon 8 qt. is a little shallower than the Moroso 8 qt. so better ground clearance. (In pic.)
TTI headers will fit with any of those pans. But there are some Hedman and Hooker headers that will not work with the Milodon 8 qt. because of the kickout. Stiff front shocks can help prevent dents in deep pans, but most OEM style replacements seem on the soft side on compression as well as on extension. All the manufacturers should have the depth of their plans listed.
