hood for 72 dart swinger

on my 72 swinger the hood ornament is missing and this might not be the correct hood - standing in front of car there are 3 holes 2 inline from rt to left one slight offset along front edge and one elongated hole up from those -- any body have a guess as to what belongs there? i have no camera at this time to post a pic sorry thanks for any help
 
The 1970 swinger had "Dodge" on the front of the hood. Google 1970 dodge and look at the pics. This may be the hood you have with the emblem missing.
 
thanks -as i said probably not the correct hood- i want to find what belongs there rather than go back to the painter
