I don't think I care for all that black plastic hanging off the front of that truck.

Plus that large RAM in the middle of that odd shape seems a bit bizarre to me...

But not quite as bizarre as the HUGE "RAM" on the back, lol!

The rest of the truck seems pretty nice tho...

I'd buy one, if they would get rid of the grill that, in My opinion, looks like a Pig's Snout. -- Other than that - they're a nice truck.

There are people in this world who will see that as some kind of directive, even subconsciously, and that truck model is going to have a high incidence of rear enders.

I have never been told a GOOD reason as to why Chrysler thought they needed to separate Dodge truck to now being called a RAM?

Even some of the other options, depending what price point your at, look odd to me... Like they should say "Toyota" in the middle instead...

I was disappointed to see the crosshair grill go away. But I don't think the new grills look bad, something different. They only had the crosshair grill since what 1986, a year before I was born lol.

Well, apparently u can order some with the cross in the middle still, I believe it is the "bighorn" package...

It still looks cool...

And the super cheap "tradesman"

I test drove a 2016 1500 4x4 eco diesel. It really was hard not to pull the trigger on buying it, but I managed to walk away.

With all that plastic in front if you tap something its thousands. I think bulldog owners would be a good fit.

I just bought a 2016 Tradesman in September and just love it, it's a basic model and still has alot of creature comforts like carpet, power windows and locks, backup camera. I used to buy the higher end models and realized the extras that never got used much. 5000 miles on her and still love it!

why can't it still be a Dodge? i'm with you, don't like it.
That's because the boss Sergio wants to stop selling cars all together. He wants to get rid of Dodge and Chrysler and just sell Jeep and RAM. That way his company we will be more profitable and he can sell them to someone else. Welcome to FCA.

That is not the reason. Ram and Dodge truck parted ways in 2007. On my 2007 CTD 4x4, you will not see Dodge anywhere on the truck. Fiat didn't buy Chrysler till 2014.
