Installing stock exhaust manifolds on 60 LA. When installing them can I just
put teflon on the end studs and use anti*sieze on all the others? What is the proven
method of doing this? I appeciate all the info available on this forum.You guys are SUPER.
 
I have always used red RTV on the threads and never had even so much as a damp spot.
Same with water pump bolts.
 
RTV here too. Give it ample time to cure though. That outgassing process is very slow where there isn't a lot of air circulation.
 
I used regular high temp thread sealer on the front and back studs and have had no issues.
