Sizing turbo for slant 6 powerwagon

Hey guys I'd like opinions on sizing a turbo for a slant 6 75 dodge w100 paisa wagon club cab short box, It's gonna be stock internals, 4 barrel intake, holley 500cfm 2 barrel carb converted over to draw through, and 33" tires with 3.55 gears planning on going 4.10's later down the road. I have no idea on sizing this beast of a truck. My old man tells me a turbo and wastegate from a late 80's Buick GN 3.8 will be ideal. But I'd like other opinions before I grenade and blow my *** sky high.

A stock engine won't have any issue spinning up any of these turbos. They are okay picks but I would recommend a T3/T4 50 trim or 60-1. These will run much lower pressure and make more power.

As for the gears, I'd go with a much higher gear for any of these turbos, nothing over 3.55 unless you're planning on hauling or crawling. I use the 2.76 in my a-body turbo setup. When I was using a smaller turbo, peak boost was at 1,800 RPMS. The lower gears help you take advantage of the enormous low-end power and run it out longer in between shifts. Even a built turbo slant with a gutted head will loose its breath at 5K rpm. I'm not familiar with running tires that tall but consider the higher gearing with that.

What about T3/T4's?
