1969 Dart Street/Strip (Re)Build

I tried and tried but I give up on the hood. Too many issues with my painting equipment, temperature, and contamination. I sprayed the hood and scoop twice now and didn't get it right either time. I've decided I'll have everything ready to go and I'll have the body shop shoot it in they're nice clean booth. So I spent about 5 hours tonight removing what I sprayed with laquer thinner. That was not a fun job. Sometimes you just can't get perfection with a half assed setup and equipment. Also have been learning to take dents out of stainless and polishing it back up. Holy cow I had no idea how much work these take. I bet I have 50 hours in them so far and I haven't even got to the final polishing stage yet. Now I understand why guys want so much money to restore them.

The car is supposedly painted but I haven't seen it yet. Here's a few pics from a couple days prior.

Here's the paint sample. Should look like this in the sun. Will still be sort of maroon in the shade though. Oh well. Good enough.
