ATTENTION 318 owners: any interest???

Honestly, for the money it's a good cam. I think it would appreciate a little more gear and stall than what I have. I have 2.76 gears and a stock converter. I would say at least 3.23 gears with a 2400 stall converter would really make a world of difference.
Of course, you can add low end by advancing the valve timing 4*, or raising the compression.
The 318 2bbl I sold that was in the b-body had more snap from 0-30 mph. But I will say, once it's rolling it feels like a stock 340. I hit about 94 mph with a 2.4 60 ft time, so that's kind of a tell-all story. I imagine if it had headers she'd really pull around 5300 rpm's. :D
If I had to do it again, I would cut the heads .030 for a little more compression and advance the timing set 4*, I bet those two small things would really help it out off the line.
