reason I don't go to shows. They charge us with the cars that draw the crowd and let the spectators in free.

Does not make a whole lot of sense to me, either. This way they lose an attraction, me and my auto

I plan on showing up... Might need a place to crash for a night or two. LOL

Going to make up some headlight and vert top harnesses for sale.

I just looked up when MATS is this year. April 21-23.
I thought it was Mopars at the Strip. I see now it is called Muscle Cars at the Strip.
Is this going to affect anyone's decision on going?

Nope. It was called that last year....and possibly the previous year. Didnt see that many non-mopars there last year. Already have my room reservations and tickets for a concert on saturday night at the venetian.
Personally I like em all and have owned cars other than CDP. Just not currently...unless you could my 95 F250 :mob: :D

I agree, I swear sometimes people on here ***** just for the sake of bitching!!! Gets real old sometimes. See you on the 19th

Went to the show this morning. Got there about 10:30. There were about 40 cars there. I did the swap and was able to sell some stuff. Started raining again around noon and most people gave up and packed it in. Too bad in that around 1:30 the sun came out and it cleared somewhat.

That was a long drive from Mesa. I completely forgot about this. Once I opened the drapes and saw the weather I figured whatever I had planned was cancelled. So I vegged out in front of the tv

It wasn't that bad. Seamed the weather went around us for the most part. Even when it started to rain it was a drizzle. I'm from the NW so im use to car shows and swap meets in inclement weather. I do however draw the line when it comes to snow.

show was rain or shine, said it right on the flyer...
I dont mind the rain either...beats the hell out of snow, every time.
got there after noon. Ran into a couple old friends so it was worth the drive.
Got my T-shirts:D

Does I or doesn't I go over to 67th ave and Bell Road tonite for their show.
My gut tells me not to go but I am bored.... may see you there

Eh, Fridays arent usually worth it.
I fought the sun the whole way over there. Pulled into a totally empty parking lot

Before I left, I told the wife that I just may drive there and turn around and come home without stopping. I was right

We have yet to meet, but one of these days.

Are there any drag strips that have sessions available that the general public can bring their cars and race them and get their times?

A small group that are mostly newer Mopars, a couple with Hellcats, are planning on attending on March 17...

Waking up the ol'cuda for 67th Ave & Bell tomorrow. (3-4-17)... Better known as the "Mixteca car show".... I generally go early... Probably between 3 & 4 ish

Been quite awhile since I've been out in the 4 speed 65 cuda... Hope my knee is ready for the clutch ⚓
